New Build - Diskeeper 2007 (11.0.709) Available
Here is the short list of adjustments. These changes were done to accomodate requirements our upcoming certification for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2003. There aren't any "bug fixes" that would require you to install this newer build. This info is just to give you an overview of the changes.
1. The Boot time defragmentation engines are now located in the Diskeeper installation folder (\Program Files\Diskeeper), instead of System Folder (as per Vista Logo requirements). A few other minor changes that don't affect the user were also implemented to ensure this new Vista requirement functions properly.
2. If Diskeeper is installed to remote computers across the network, (e.g. using Diskeeper Administrator/Active Directory/SMS) any user launching the user interface the first time will see a brief per-user configuration to implement that user's custom settings for the Diskeeper interface.

I have Diskeeper 2007 pro build 11.0.698.
I keep seeing updates to build 709 are available, and your announcement here is dated 5 June.
But when I check for updates from within Diskeeper it tells me that build 698 is the latest available and only offers an upgrade to premium, which I do not want.
Will you be making the update available from the check for updates? If yes, when? If no, how am I to get this update?

Because builds higher than 698 require software activation, we have not listed the newer builds on the Updates site. We'll make this available, on that site, in the next few weeks with added info about the new requirement.
You can get 11.0.709 trialware, today, and install it over the top of your existing "full" version. Just be sure to get the right version of trialware (if you have DK Pro 11.0.698, be sure to download DK Pro 11.0.709). You will need to activate the software, which takes about 2-3 seconds.

Launched Diskeeper on a Vista machine today and it says 709 is available. Start the install but nothing happens. Installshield sits forever. Any reason this is happening? It is Vista and all but Diskeeper 2007 Pro Premier should install on here...

Hi Jeffrey,
Please check out the technical support website at http://support.diskeeper.com/support/diskeeperfaqs.aspx.
There is a category on Install/Uninstall you'll want to review.
