What do you want to see on the Diskeeper Blog?
Recently I've been active on numerous tech forums, helping out Diskeeper users and providing technical assistance or just general info on how the file system and OS work. It's giving me some good ideas for future blogs, but I'd really like to hear from everyone reading this blog what subjects you would like to see covered here.
As much as I like to hear myself talk ;-), I want to cover things you actually care to read. I want this site to provide benefit. Please think of it as a resource to help you out or provide you info you may not be able to get anywhere else.
I ask only that any subjects you suggest be loosely relevant to the technologies Diskeeper Corporation is involved with. On those subjects I can speak with, at least, a modicum of intelligence :-). Your request doesn't have to be on technical subjects. If you want to know more about the company itself - ask away.
Let us know what you'd like to see covered here! Please note that I may not post your comments until I get around to answering them in full.

I'd like a serious explanation about the differences between IFAAST 2.0 and the strategy of [feature name removed] in [product name removed]. So many people on the forums think that they are basically the same thing. Thanks for any exploration on this topic.

I'd love to read about future improvements for Diskeeper, such as I-FAAST 3 (unless that will be implemented in Diskeeper 2008).
Also, as the Pro Premier is aimed at the gaming rigs (among other types) perhaps some coverage on how little impact an auto defrag (using the latest invisitasking feature of 2007) may impose while gaming?
And, similar to other software blogs, information about any patches and what has been fixed or improved upon.

Hi Wordsworth. I will explain that in a blog - good idea! And yes, I am familiar with what you are saying about the forums. What I write will focus on what I-FAAST does. My purpose won't be to tell you why the other products are bad. I mention that only because comparisons I've seen are often predicated on that.

Hi Jim. Thanks for your post. I-FAAST 3.0 is in the works already. It involves some major technological advancements that will require Intellectual Property protection, so I can't go into detail on that until next year.
Absolutely on the updates. We are planning an update to support Vista that will include some new functionality.
I really like the testing idea. I'm going to set up something on this that anyone interested will be able to contribute to.

The differences between ifaast 1.0 and ifaast 2.0.
And whether or not it uses c:\windows\prefetch\layout.lini to improve its performance, and why or why not if possible
thanks.

Are there actual significant changes in ifaast2.0 compared to ifaast 1.0, other than the inivisitasking technology?

Is diskkeeper 64 bit compatible or fully 64 bit? Are you going to support 64 bit in the Home editions?
